Beach-n-Bling at Cherish Our Children Event

It was a joyful and lively event with lots of old and young happy families.  Santa was there, too.
Many items were donated and auctioned. The funds raised go to children in the community.

This festive and colorful holiday bracelet is available on Etsy.

Wire Wrapped without Sea Glass

I made a couple of delicate filigree pendants using gold and silver wire. Since there's not much sea glass in Austin,Texas, I made them without it.

The pendants are delicately and meticulously wrapped in a dreamcatcher style.

This one is now available on Etsy.

Thanksgiving Day Earrings

This is sort of how the table looked before dinner.
After a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at a beautifully set table I became inspired to make a pair of earrings.
We served up the dinner buffet style, and not much turkey left here.  (Notice the blue and white dishes.)
Once the the kitchen was tamed and closed for the evening, I retreated to my room and made a pair of earrings to relax and unwind.
Can you imagine what color I made the earrings?
Guess...

Need something to go with jeans? These are the earrings!

These earrings are available on Etsy. Click this link.

If you like them, really like them, you can purchase them on

Custom Made Wire Wrapped Sea Glass Jewelry

I am in Austin, TX visiting family right now. I am really enjoying the sunny warm weather.
I brought my Beach-n-Bling stuff with me, because it all packs up nicely into a large shoe box.  That includes merchandise, tools, wire and some sea glass to make new stuff.

The other day one of my Mom's friends was visiting and of course she had a look at my jewelry.
She bought a pair of earrings. She asked me if I had a pendant to go with them. I had one that was close but not  the same type of wire, so I suggested I would make her one that matches the earrings better by using the same wire.

Here is what I made. I hope she likes it.
