Walk to the River
Today I took a walk to the river to do a photo shooting of some of my wire wrapped sea glass.
It was a lovely, sunny January day which is rare in the rain forest of Washington State.

Two Beach Hikes in Two Days
We've been having cold and sunny weather here on the Olympic Peninsula.
Ice blue sea glass on ice. Available for purchase from my Etsy shop. |
The weather has been gorgeous. In the past two days I've been on two beach hikes.
Yesterday I hiked the beach between Clallam Bay and Sekiu. I found a quit a bit of sea glass, but alas, I didn't take pictures of the sea glass, just some beach shots.
The beach between Clallam Bay and Sekiu This afternoon we hiked Second Beach near La Push. It was gloriously sunny. |

Wire Wrapped Sea Glass Pendants
Yesterday I sat down and started wire wrapping. I was trying out a different technique of making a bale and frame first and then wrapping wire to hold the seaglass in place.
Its amazing how certain things show up when you take a picture of them. I guess its a way of being objective.
The next few photos show what I created.
This one is now available via my Etsy shop. Hint: Click this link. |
