What do bats and sea glass have to do with each other?     

Absolutely nothing.

However, because I like to celebrate the things about my environment in my art, I was inspired to paint something related to Austin, TX, where I have been living for nearly two years now. 

If you've ever been to Austin, you'll know that bats are a thing - a weird yet popular thing. In the months from April - October bats come flying out from under the Congress Street Bridge at dusk.  Many people gather here to watch the phenomeon.

You can get an idea of what the bats flying out from under the Congress Street Bridge looks like in this overexposed image.

People appreciate bats because they eat a lot of insects. And that means less pesky bugs in your space.

 To express my gratitude  for the fact that in Austin there are millions of bats eating billions of bugs. I decided to paint bats on sea glass. That's how bats and sea glass come together in my most recent art project of creating hand painted and wire wrapped authentic sea glass wearable art for you to enjoy.

At the market I was asked, if I had any bangles for sale. I didn't and I was sorry, because I may have had a sale. I thought about it and looked around for a few days and saw that a lot of women love to wear bangles with something dangling on it. It didn't take me long to to get on the bangle dangle wagon.  Now I  also have bangles with dangles to sell.  The dangles on my bangles are made out of genuine sea glass I personally hand pick off the beach.
