Visit my Beach-n-Bling Pinterest Page

By the way, I have a collection of my works also displayed on Pinterest.

Friday Afternoon Beach Hike

It was a sunny afternoon on Friday. We decided to take advantage of the prospects of some sunshine and headed to a beach near Kalaloch. Jim wanted to see the beached whale, again. It's been there for a few weeks and getting pretty stinky. Poor creature.
it makes you wonder why it died. Was it old age, sickness, injury? Anyways, its been a blubberfest for the local eagles.  All the trees within sight of the beached whale had an eagle in it. Many of them were young eagles because they didn't have their distinctive white heads yet.

This time I dropped Jim off near this beach, and I drove further down to the next beach where there was an easier access.  I don't care too much for sliding down steep wet cliffs on my butt.

Eagle youth flying by the moon

This piece of driftwood reminded me of the beached whale further up the beach.

Just love the luminosity of sea glass when the sun shines on it

Thanks for visiting.

Wire Wrapped Sea Glass Earrings

The past few days, I've settled down and started wire wrapping some colored sea glass earrings. These are much more hard to find than white and brown.
I had so many white pairs and now I have some in blue and green on the market. It takes a lot of collecting and analyzing to come up with pairs that match well. You have to take the size, color, shape, texture and thickness all into consideration.

Copper and green how irresistible.

These will be available on Etsy soon!

Beach-n-Bling at the Beach Combers' Fun Fair in Ocean Shores, WA

Last weekend Beach-n-Bling went to the Beach Combers' Fun Fair in Ocean Shores, WA

This is a link to some pictures of my merchandise on display.

This is a link to an album I made of some of the very interesting beach combers' displays.

I had lots of fun and met some very nice people.

I also won some ribbons for my painted rocks.
(see my rock art blog)

Well, I personally didn't win this ribbon, but I do use the jewelry stand for displaying my wire wrapped sea glass. And I helped design it.
