Beach-n-Bling at Joyce Daze Blackberry Festival
Last Saturday, Aug. 3, Beach-n-Bling set up (with new market canopy) at the Joyce Daze Blackberry Festival. Lots of people showed up. It was a great day.

Sea Glass in Seattle
Last weekend we went to the Folks Festival in Seattle.
We walked on to the Ferry from Bainbridge Island. After disembarking the vessel, we then hoofed it up to the West Lake Center to take the Monorail to the Seattle Center.
There was a lot of music, art and culinary delights to enjoy at the Folk Festival.
It was interesting and fun. I even got to interact with some other wire happy artists.
When we were ready to go back, we decided to walk along the waterfront to go back to the ferry.
Once we got down to the waterfront we found a little beach. I was thinking to myself, if I find sea glass, it will be a perfect day. Well, we did! And amazingly it was quite a large amount for such a small beach. My little pouch would have bursted if I took more. What a pleasant surprise.

First Beach La Push
Yesterday (3/29/13) we went to First Beach at La Push, WA. It was a gorgeous evening with lots of bright sunshine for a while. Then the fog set in just before the sunset. It was a sunset into the fog. It is amazing how fast that fog can roll in...

| After the sun sunk behind the fog bank the sky took on a pearly iridescent pink. |

| In only a minute James Island disappeared into the fog. |
