Handcrafted on The Big Island of Hawaii

On this post, I have a batch of bracelets to display. 

The past week or so I developed a new type of wire cage for displaying sea glass in a piece of jewelry.  It has two bales on it. It took me a few days to figure out a concept to make them into bracelets.

Made from genuine pale blue sea glass hand picked off the beach.

Genuine sea glass has been tossed in the surf for many years before to get that gorgeous smooth matt look. 

Handcrafted out of genuine repurposed sea glass from the pacific northwest.

Genuine Sea Glass Bracelet Bier

Genuine Sea Glass Bracelet Bier

I named this bracelet Bier. That's the German word for beer. Pronounced the same as in English.  The reason behind this is because the brown pieces of sea glass most likely come from beer bottles. Genuine sea glass has to be tumbled in the surf and sand to get that smooth matt look and feel to it.

I'd like to share some more sea glass and wire wrapped jewelry I have recently created and posted on Etsy.

A chunky beachcomber's bracelet made with sea glass, sea shells, limpets  and other things from the beach.

I also call it a mermaid bracelet.

This pendant is made with a piece of  hand painted white sea glass. 

It is purple, opalescent  and very unique.

Newest Creations and Sorting Green Sea Glass in the Sun

Haven't posted in a while because we were on vacation.
Finally, after unpacking,  getting the studio somewhat in order and a day of canning tuna, I've been able to get around to making more wire wrapped sea glass jewelry. 

Unique asymmetrical design

Today it was so nice outside that I set up a table and sorted some green sea glass in the sun. It felt so good to have some sunshine on my shoulders.
