Keeping Busy in November

This month has kept me very busy with going to bazaars, making jewelry and experimenting with new materials and techniques.
Shown here are some of the things I made in the past couple of weeks.

The past few weeks I have been learning how to made cedar baskets. This is my third little basket. I made a necklace to go with it that has drilled green sea glass in it. Because it is a learning piece, it is very special to me and won't be for sale. I really enjoy making baskets.

A Lovely Afternoon at the Beach

Great Beachcombing Weather, And a Little Sea Glass, Too

Yesterday afternoon we went on a walk at First Beach in La Push, WA.We had a clear sky and hardly any wind. It actually got to warm for us in the sun with all the winter clothing we were wearing. We quickly realized we were on the warm side of the "omega block" that is causing all the cold weather in the central and eastern U.S. And thats not a bad thing.Here are some pics of our walk.

In addition to making new jewelry I've been working on making jewelry display boards for quicker and easier display, transport and storage. Most of the jewelry you see on these boards are for sale on my Etsy shop.

Except for one small thing wrapped in copper every piece here is wrapped in sterling silver or Argentium

New Wire New Looks

New Looks with New Wire

I recently purchased a different color of wire for wrapping sea glass. Its called gunmetal and its a dark gray color.
Today I'll present some pendants and earrings wrapped in gunmetal wire.
Some of the pendants have an owl or a ladybug hand drawn on them. This is also a new idea that I have.

Two Blue Pendants Wrapped in Brass Wire

I guess its been a while since I've posted on here.
October 1 we went on a trip down the Oregon Coast and we had beautiful weather. See  http://sleepingbeautystravels.blogspot.com/ to find out more about it. If it isn't showing there yet, come back again later.
Since we've been back I have a lot of catching up on organization.
I still find time to make jewelry, but not so easy to find time to write on the computer.
Here are a couple of pendants I made recently.
I also wrapped a beach stone in a different  more experimental manner.
